Miami, FL - (February 24, 2009) - Modern Veterinary Therapeutics, LLC announces today that the Canadian Veterinary Biologics Section has approved ImmunoComb-FIP. ImmunoComb-FIP is an antibody diagnostic test indicated to aid in the diagnosis of Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus in both serum and whole blood. ImmunoComb-FIP is based on a patented Solid Phase Immunoassay technology described as “dot-ELISA”. A multicentric clinical trial in the United States showed that ImmunoComb-FIP has a sensitivity and specificity of 100%.

Modern Veterinary Therapeutics, LLC has entered into a formal distribution agreement with Biovet Inc (St Hyacinthe, Quebec). Under the terms of the agreement, Biovet Inc. will be the exclusive Canadian distributor of ImmunoComb-FIP.
