The USDA has granted licensing for its ImmunoComb-FIP (Product code 5029.00). ImmunoComb-FIP is an antibody diagnostic test indicated to aid in the diagnosis of Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus in both serum and whole blood. ImmunoComb-FIP is based on a patented Solid Phase ImmunoAssay technology described as “dot-ELISA”. A multicentric clinical trial in the United States showed that ImmunoComb-FIP has a sensitivity and specificity of 100%. ImmunoComb-FIP is available for immediate shipment and will be available to veterinarians and veterinary diagnostic laboratories through veterinary distributors.
