Miami, FL - (April 05, 2010) - Modern Veterinary Therapeutics, LLC announces today that it is entering the veterinary pain
management prescription drug market. The FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine has approved its injectable analgesic, BUTORPHINE.
BUTORPHINE is indicated for the relief of pain in cats caused by major or minor trauma, or pain associated with surgical procedures. Pre-clinical model studies and clinical field trials in cats demonstrated that the analgesic effects of BUTORPHINE are seen within 20 minutes and persist in the majority of responding cats for 3 to 6 hours following subcutaneous injection. The product will be presented in 10 mL multidose vial.
